Christian Louboutin stores across the globe have window displays that look like they are straight from the pages of a comic book. StudioXAG has designed a concept which really stands out on the high street. The 3D windows have a vibrant, colourful effect, sure to catch the eye of passers-by.
The graphic explosions in the window displays have been created from powder-coated steel, combined with shards wrapped in a baby blue glitter and contrasting coloured vinyl. Within the centre of the explosion design and striking colour palette of the rich hues is the word ‘POP!’ in red neon lighting. In larger windows, the explosion bursts from a bespoke metal and mirrored acrylic box which is lined with small lightbulbs. Some displays also feature golf ball filament bulbs, adding to the retro, comic book style of the windows.
The display also has a fantastic 3D effect, used to full effect by the contrasting colours and materials. Even the centre ‘POP!’ lettering is placed on layered boards, all of different colours, to make the word stand out even more.
Also in the windows are shoes from the Louboutin summer collection, which have been carefully displayed on concealed shelves in the explosions, that almost make the shoes look like they are suspended in mid-air, angled perfectly in a vivid display. These shoes match the display in their colour and creative designs.
Christian Louboutin stores and boutiques worldwide are known for their creative shop displays, and it is always interesting to see the new designs of window displays when they are revealed throughout the year.
